1. Purpose

These Terms set out the rights, obligations and responsibilities of ORIOTI (the "Company") and users, and the conditions and procedures for using the mobile app "CozyCamp" (the "Service").

2. Definitions

  • "User": a person who uses the Service under these Terms
  • "Camp": a private space for a group of friends that a User creates or joins by invitation
  • "Host": the User who holds the authority to manage a Camp
  • "Coins": virtual currency used within the Service, purchased in the app or granted free of charge by the Company
  • "Items": digital content purchased with Coins
  • "Store": the platform that distributes the app and processes payments, such as the Apple App Store or Google Play

3. Effect and Changes to the Terms

These Terms are posted on the first screen and in Settings. Users may use the Service after agreeing to these Terms.

The Company may change these Terms within the limits of applicable law. Changes are announced in the app or on this page at least 7 days before they take effect (30 days for changes unfavorable to Users). Continuing to use the Service after the effective date without objecting is deemed acceptance.

Matters not covered by these Terms follow applicable laws and customary practice, including the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, the Content Industry Promotion Act and the Information and Communications Network Act.

4. Accounts and Eligibility

The Service may be started with an anonymous account without separate registration. Some features may require linking an external account such as Apple, Google or Kakao.

Persons under 14 may not use the Service. Minors need the consent of a legal guardian for paid purchases; purchases made without consent may be cancelled.

Users are responsible for managing their account and device. Accounts may not be transferred or lent to others.

Users may delete their account at any time in the app. Deletion removes all of the User's data, including character, camps, notes and Coins, unlinks any external account, and cannot be undone. Any Coins remaining at the time of deletion, paid or free, are forfeited and are not refunded. The app informs the User of this again before deletion.

5. Content of the Service

The Service is an ambient social app where friends keep a fire, chat, leave notes and buy Items.

Chat messages are deleted after a period of time by default; the Company sets and may change the period and any exceptions. The Company cannot prevent other Users from saving a message or capturing the screen before it is deleted.

The Company may change the content, features and rules of the Service for operational or technical reasons, and announces important changes in the app.

6. Coins and Items

Coins are digital goods used only within the app. They cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred to other Users.

Coin prices are as shown in the Store; currency and taxes follow Store policy. Coins granted free of charge by the Company are not refundable and are used before paid Coins.

Items are delivered immediately upon purchase, and Users hold only the right to use them within the Service. The Company sets and may change the kinds, effects and prices of Items.

7. Payment, Withdrawal and Refunds

Coins are purchased through the Store's in-app purchase, and the contract is formed at the time of payment.

Users may request withdrawal (a refund) of paid Coins within 7 days of purchase only if none of those Coins have been used. Once any part of the Coins has been used, and for Items purchased with Coins, withdrawal is restricted under Article 17(2) of the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce as digital content whose provision has begun; the Company indicates this on the purchase screen.

Refunds are made through the refund procedure of the Store where the purchase was made. Only where the Store does not handle the request may Users contact support@orioti.com, and the Company processes it in accordance with applicable law.

Where Coins or Items could not be used normally due to the Company's fault, the Company restores the affected Coins or Items as a rule.

8. User Obligations and Prohibited Conduct

  • Using another person's account or device without permission, or impersonating others
  • Abusive, hateful, sexual or violent expression, or chat and notes that harass or threaten others
  • Disclosing other Users' chat or notes outside the Service without consent, or using them commercially
  • Publishing invite links to the general public, or using a Camp for advertising or business
  • Modifying the program, abnormal payments, or automated activity that burdens the servers
  • Any other conduct that violates the law or these Terms

If such conduct is confirmed, the Company may issue a warning, remove the User from a Camp, restrict use or delete the account, in which case remaining Coins are not refunded.

The Company applies a zero-tolerance policy to objectionable or abusive content and Users. Users may use the report and block features in the app. The Company may review reports within 24 hours, remove the content in question and restrict the author's use. A profanity filter may be applied to chat and notes.

9. Camp Operation and Hosts

Only invited people may enter a Camp. The Host may manage the Camp's settings and members. Data within a Camp belonging to a member who leaves, is removed or deletes their account may be deleted.

When the Host leaves a Camp, Host authority passes to one of the remaining members. The Company sets the criteria and may change them. A Camp that all members have left is deleted.

Conversations and notes within a Camp are private communication between members. The Company does not read their content except as needed for handling reports, complying with the law or operating the Service.

10. Content and Rights

Copyright and intellectual property in the Service's characters, props, backgrounds, sounds and software belong to the Company or their rightful owners. Users may use them only for the purpose of using the Service.

Users own the chat, notes and nicknames they write in the Service. The Company may use them to the extent necessary to provide and operate the Service.

11. Changes, Suspension and Termination of the Service

The Company may temporarily suspend the Service for system maintenance, failures, force majeure, or circumstances of third-party services such as the Store or cloud providers, and gives advance notice where possible.

The Company may terminate all or part of the Service. In that case it gives notice at least 30 days before the termination date, and unused paid Coins are handled in accordance with applicable law.

12. Limitation of Liability

The Company is not liable for damages in connection with the parts of the Service provided free of charge, unless applicable law provides otherwise.

The Company is not liable for damages arising from causes attributable to the User, such as neglect in managing their device, network or account.

The Company has no obligation to intervene in disputes between Users or between a User and a third party arising through the Service, and is not liable for resulting damages, except in cases of the Company's willful misconduct or gross negligence.

The Company is not responsible for any profit a User expects from the Service, or for the reliability or accuracy of information posted by Users.

A User who causes damage to the Company by violating these Terms must compensate for that damage.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms and use of the Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.

Disputes between the Company and a User are first addressed by consultation through support@orioti.com; if unresolved, they are brought before the court of competent jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act.

14. Supplementary Provisions

These Terms apply from September 24, 2026.

The handling of personal information is governed by the separate Privacy Policy.
